River Valley School proudly welcomed Kirby Larson to RV today. Kirby Larson is an award-winning author, having received the Newbery Honor in 2007. More recently, in 2015, her book Dash won the Scott O'Dell Historical Fiction prize. We were honored to host her today in District 113A!
