• Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Received in May 1999.
• Masters of Arts in Reading and Literacy from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. Received in May 2007

Highly Qualified

I love working with kids of all ages! I truly beleive that all kids can learn and that it is the educatiors job to find the means for that child to learn. I originally taught in a 4th and 5th grade looping classroom in Indianapolis, Indiana. I moved back home and started teaching at River Valley in 5th grade. Currently, I am a reading specialist. As a reading specailist I work with struggling readers in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Reading is certainly a love  of mine!

In my free time I enjoy reading, seeing movies, and spending time with my friends and family. I have 4 nephews that I adore and enjoy hanging out with.
